I tell you why kangaroos are called like this:
When the first Englishmen to Australia, they asked the natives what they called these strange hopping animals, since they had not seen before.
The natives always said "kan Chu ru" , and this was Kangaroo or "kangaroo" in English.
But it turns out that "kan ru Chu" in the language of the native Australians means:
"I do not understand."
Crazy, no?
